Hills and hill stations in Kerala offer the most magical experience of nature. Most of the hill stations in Kerala lies on the windward side of the Western Ghats. Day 1: Cochin
On arrival at Cochin Airport you will be met by our tour executive and then you will be met by our representative and then you will be transferred to hotel. Kochi also known as Cochin, is a major port city on the south west coast of India by the Arabian Sea also called as ‘Queen of Arabian Sea.Later you will visit Mattencherry palace, St.Franchis church, Jewish synagogue, Chinese fishing nets and Marine drive area. Overnight stay in Cochin.
Day 2: Cochin – Munnar 140 Kms
After breakfast drive to Munnar, the gateway of hills in South India. Munnar is a town and hill station located in the southwestern Indian state of Kerala. Munnar is situated at around 1,600 metres (5,200 ft) above sea level, in the Western Ghats range of mountains. The name Munnar is believed to mean “three rivers”, referring to its location at the confluence of the Mudhirapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundaly rivers. En-route visit the Cheeyappara Waterfalls and can watch the beautiful and colorful flowers in Blossom Garden. Check-in to the hotel on arrival. Relax for a while and rest of the day you can explore the beauty of the nature. Overnight stay at hotel/resort in Munnar.
Day 3: Munnar
After breakfast proceed for a morning sight seeing trip of Munnar which includes, Eravikulam National Park, Mattupetty Dam, Kundala Dam, Echo Point, View Point and the Tea Gardens. Overnight stay at hotel / resort in Munnar.
Day 4: Munnar – Thekkady 120 Kms
After breakfast proceed to Thekkady. Thekkady is located near to Kerala-Tamil Nadu border. The sanctuary is famous for its dense evergreen, semi-evergreen, moist deciduous forests and savanna grass lands. It is home to herds of elephants, sambar, tigers, gaur, lion-tailed Macaques and Nilgiri Langurs. The Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is spread across 777 km2 (300 sq mi), of which 360 km2 (140 sq mi) is thick evergreen forest. The Wild Life Sanctuary was declared a Tiger Reserve in 1978. The splendid artificial lake formed by the Mullaperiyar Dam across the Periyar River adds to the charm of the park. The greatest attractions of Periyar are the herds of wild elephants, deers, bisons that come down to drink in the lake. Sanctuary can be accessed through a trekking, boating or jeep safari.After checkin at hotel, you will go for boat ride in periyar lake and followed by plantation tour. Overnight stay in Thekkady.
Day 5: Alleppey Houseboat 145 Kms
After breakfast check-out from the hotel and proceed to the Alleppey. Alappuzha also known as Alleppey, is a town in Alappuzha District of Kerala state of southern India. It is the administrative headquarters of Alappuzha District. A town with picturesque canals, backwaters, beaches, and lagoons, it was described as the one of the places known as the “Venice of the East” by Lord Curzon. Staying in House boat will give unforgettable memories.boat jetty and check-in to the Houseboat. The rest of the day is in the houseboat. Overnight stay at Houseboat in Alleppey.
Day 6: Alleppey Houseboat – Trivandrum 160 Kms
After breakfast, pack your baggage with a promise of coming back again to this sweet holiday package. Check-out from the houseboat and proceed to Trivandrum. Thiruvananthapuram also known as Trivandrum, is the capital of the Indian state of Kerala and the headquarters of the Thiruvananthapuram District. It is located on the west coast of India near the extreme south of the mainland. “Evergreen city of India” – the city is characterised by its undulating terrain of low coastal hills and busy commercial alleys. Trivandrum Airport is acting as an important role connecting Gulf Countries by flights Before reaching resort in Kovalam, you will visit Anandha Padmanabaswamy temple, Srichitra Arts Gallery, Napier Museum, Kuthiramalika palace. Evening leisure at beach. Overnight stay in Kovalam.
Day 7: Kovalam
Full day leisure at resort and you can go for Ayurvedic / spa massage here. Overnight stay in Kovalam
Day 8: Kovalam – Trivandrum departure
Morning leisure at resort. Later you will be transferred to Airport for your onward journey.
